MEET OUR TEAM
Rachel Owen MIPA FFA
Rachel is a member of the Institute of Public Accountants and has been with the business for over 10 years, having commenced employment with Brackenbury Green & Associates in 2007.
Studying externally, Rachel completed her Bachelor of Business (Accounting) Degree from the Central Queensland University in July, 2008. Following on from this Rachel went on to study and complete the CPA Program in October, 2017.
On the 1st January, 2018 Rachel joined Shirley Green in forming a new company trading as Brackenbury Green & Owen.
Rachel assists clients in all areas of taxation and accounting, with her specialist area being Self Managed Superannuation Funds.
With four children, Rachel is very adept at time management, juggling part time work, family commitments, and the running of the business.
Brianna Patterson
Brianna joined the firm in February, 2019 as a full-time Trainee Accountant, following completion of her Higher School Certificate at Quirindi High School.
Brianna completed a Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping at TAFE in February, 2021 and is now undertaking a Diploma in Accounting, externally at Monarch Institute. She has applied herself diligently to all tasks undertaken and is a valued member of the team.
Brianna received a Highly Commended in the 2021 NSW Training Awards for the Trainee of the Year. Brackenbury Green & Owen are extremely proud of Brianna's application to her studies and also on her outstanding achievements.
Brianna was born & raised in Werris Creek, where she continues to live with her family.
Johan Quezada
Johan joined the firm in May, 2023 as a full-time accounting clerk. Johan studied and worked as an auditor in Chile, before moving to Australia in 2017. Once living in Australia, Johan went on to complete a Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping, then a Diploma in Accounting.
Johan has a passion for numbers, as well as years of experience using various accounting software programs from his time working as an auditor.
Johan lives in Quirindi with his wife and three young children, where he has become involved in the local sporting community and runs dance lessons.
Jill Hartin
Jill joined the Firm in February, 2001 as part of our administration team, and is now our office manager responsible for the day to day operations of the business. She is the first friendly face you see when you call into our office.
Having had over 20 years previous secretarial, banking and customer service experience, Jill is confident when assisting our clients both on the phone and in person. Jill has a sound knowledge and experience working with our computer systems, she manages appointments and assists with customer service.
Sonia Green
Sonia joined the Firm in February, 2019 as a part-time Administration Assistant. She has lived in the Spring Ridge area for more than 30 years and runs her own farming enterprise.
Sonia brings more than 10 years of experience in administration and bookkeeping, having previously worked for an accounting firm in Gunnedah, together with the practical experience achieved from being a business owner and maintaining her own books.
